a YA webcomic that looks back with some hope
Motivated by the wave of anti-LGBTQ+ events during the summer of 2022, writer/artist Tim Fish ran the Young Adult webcomic PLEASE SAY IT! from 2022-2024.
Trevor and Matt hide secret lives and desires while staring down high school, the stupid jerks around them, and the epidemic of AIDS in 198os. The boys face intolerance to create acceptance, find community, and love.
Workshop’d at the University of Oxford Summer Program in Creative Writing in a YA Fiction Writing class, writer and artist Tim Fish (co-creator of LIEBESTRASSE) delivers a look back to offer some hope.
The three volumes are written in three acts each with the themes of self-awareness, self-acceptance, and activism. Available for representation or publication.
